If you have a mini skid steer (or a full size skid steer), the standard cart is the least expensive option. We move our tool cart with the mini skid steer for yards with steep terrain, non established lawns (new construction homes), or when the distance from the backyard to the street is quite far. It also works best for muddy and snowy conditions. We don't use the mini skid steer on a daily basis because our mini skid steer will damage the lawn. The motorized tool cart is by far the best option for transporting tools and/or materials on a daily basis for established lawns.

That depends on the weight of the cart, the distance the cart travels, and if the cart operates on hilly terrain. We normally charge the batteries on our cart once every two weeks for an average jobsite. There is a battery indicator on the motorized cart that shows the battery charge level (while stationary) and also the battery consumption (while moving).
